060A

Room 60A was created when Room 60W was subdivided in the Early San Juan period. It measures 2.75 m east-west by 2 m north-south. Thirteen strata were identified: six roof-fall units that comprised an almost intact roof, an occupational unit, and several fill strata. No floor was found probably because excavations did not reach the deeper levels in Room 60A. Five features were identified, including a mostly intact roof comprised of adobe, vigas, latillas, juniper bark, and small wood elements. The relative lack of features in Room 60A suggests a storage function.
